Signal Fax vs Fax.Plus

Fax.Plus is a well-built product with a clean interface, and for a lot of light users it's plenty. Rather than reprint their current plans here — where they'd go out of date and become a claim we can't stand behind — here are the questions that decide this choice, with our answers on the record.

Signal Fax’s answer
Will they sign a BAA, on the plan you're actually buying?
Yes — free, self-serve from the dashboard, on every plan including the $12 one. No sales call and no enterprise tier required.
What is the page allowance, in writing?
250, 2,000 or 10,000 pages a month depending on plan, printed on our pricing page. Over it, extra pages are $0.02 and capped at the price of the next plan up.
What does it cost to take your number away?
$0, in both directions, with no notice period and no penalty. The number is yours.
What happens to your fax history when you cancel?
It stays available to export as PDFs for 30 days after cancellation.
Can you get your money back if it isn't right?
Full refund inside 30 days. After that, cancel and we refund the unused part of the month.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No. Monthly, cancel from the dashboard. Annual billing is available and saves two months if you want it.

The questions are the same whoever you're comparing. If a provider won't answer one of them plainly, that is itself the answer.
