Integrations

Fax that files itself where the work already lives.

A fax service that makes you re-file everything by hand hasn’t saved you the machine. Here is what Signal Fax connects to today — all of it, with nothing listed that we haven’t built.

Available now

Google Drive

Document filing

Point a fax number at a Drive folder and every fax that number receives files itself there as a PDF, named and dated. Useful when a closing folder or a patient chart already lives in Drive and you don't want anyone hand-saving attachments.

Connect it once in Settings with your Google account. Per-number, so different departments can file to different folders.

EHR and practice management

Clinical and billing

Send faxes from inside your clinical workflow, and pull eligibility checks, claim submissions, claim status and electronic remittance advice through the same integration. A referral going out and the billing that follows it run off one line.

Authenticated server to server. Built on a FHIR-compatible identity layer and a healthcare clearinghouse, so it fits systems that already speak those protocols.

REST API

Build your own

Send a fax with one POST and get the outcome on a signed webhook instead of polling. Useful when the fax is a step in something else you already run — a discharge packet, a signed closing document, a claim going to a payer that still wants paper.

Bearer-token auth with per-key scopes, documents in or out, and delivery callbacks signed so you can verify them. Included on Team and Scale. Reference at /docs/api.

Email delivery

Notifications

Every received fax arrives as an email with the PDF attached, to whoever is assigned to that number or group. No polling a web inbox to find out whether the referral landed.

Per-user notification settings. Works alongside the web inbox rather than replacing it.

Carrier network and porting

Telephony

Numbers are provisioned on a tier-1 carrier network, so you can search and claim a local or toll-free number in any US or Canadian area code in the dashboard. Porting an existing number in is free, and porting it back out is free too.

No notice period and no penalty on the way out — the number is yours, not ours.

Need something that isn’t here?

We would rather hear what you actually need than publish a logo wall of things nobody uses. Tell us what system the fax has to land in and we’ll tell you honestly whether it exists today, when it will, or whether we’re the wrong choice for you.
