Port-out policy.

The number is yours. This page exists so that is written down somewhere you can point at.

Before you rely on this

This page describes our policy in plain English so you can read it before you sign up. The executable agreement is being finalised with counsel and is not published yet \u2014 if you need the signed document before committing, email support@letssignal.com and we will send the current draft.

The policy

You may port any number you hold with us away at any time.

There is no fee. There is no notice period. There are no liquidated damages, and no requirement to get our sign-off first.

We will not delay a port to retain you, and we will not require you to speak to anyone before releasing it.

How to do it

Ask your new provider to initiate the port and give them the account details from your Signal Fax settings. They will request it from us; we will not obstruct it.

Keep your Signal Fax account open until the port completes, so you do not lose inbound faxes in the gap.

Why this is a page

Because at least one competitor states $500 in liquidated damages for porting a number away without their authorisation. If the difference matters to you, it should be written down rather than promised.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask us before you sign up rather than after.
