This page describes our policy in plain English so you can read it before you sign up. The executable agreement is being finalised with counsel and is not published yet \u2014 if you need the signed document before committing, email support@letssignal.com and we will send the current draft.
Don't do these
Unsolicited bulk or advertising faxes. This is the one that gets both of us in trouble — junk faxing is separately illegal in the US and it will end your account.
Sending content you have no right to send, or impersonating someone else's number or organisation.
Attempting to send to a number you do not have a legitimate reason to contact.
What we do about it
We rate-limit and investigate rather than silently disconnecting. If something looks like misuse we contact you first, unless the volume is causing immediate harm.
Blocked-number controls are available in the dashboard so you can stop inbound abuse yourself.
Reporting misuse
If you have received an unwanted fax from a Signal Fax number, email support@letssignal.com with the transmission details and we will act on it.
