About
We build the boring part of communications.
Signal Fax is a Signal service. Signal builds communications infrastructure for businesses that are accountable when it stops working \u2014 phone systems, and now fax.
Why fax, in 2026
Fax has not survived because anyone likes it. It has survived because healthcare, law, insurance, title and finance all need a transmission record, and because the receiving end of those industries asks for it. Telling a practice manager to stop faxing is not advice, it is a shrug.
So the useful thing is not to replace fax with something else. It is to make the fax line itself accountable: a signed BAA, a record of every page, a number you own, and terms that do not punish you for leaving.
How we price
We publish every number. The page allowance is in writing, the overage rate is on the pricing page and capped at the next plan up, and there is no charge to port a number in or out.
There is no free trial, deliberately. Instead there is a full refund inside 30 days, which is a month of real use rather than two weeks of evaluating.
What we will not claim
There is no such thing as a HIPAA-certified fax service — HIPAA has no certification body. We say HIPAA-ready, we sign a BAA, and we publish what our controls actually are.
Where a capability is on the roadmap rather than in the product, it is not on this website.
